Tom M. Amador, Jr., 78, was born on July 25, 1948, in Eagle Lake, Texas, and was called to be with his Lord and Savior on August 17, 2026, in Houston, Texas.
Tom was a kind, loving, and humble man who found happiness in living a simple life and always putting his family first. Family meant everything to him, and he made it a priority to ensure that those he loved were always taken care of. He never hesitated to lend a helping hand and was always willing to do whatever he could for others.
Tom had a wonderful sense of humor and was known for being a jokester. He loved making people laugh and brought joy to those around him with his playful personality and warm spirit. He also loved to sing, filling many moments with music and creating memories that his family and friends will forever cherish.
An avid sports fan, Tom especially enjoyed football and baseball. He proudly cheered on the Houston Texans and Houston Astros and always enjoyed watching his favorite teams play.
Above all, Tom will be remembered for his loving heart, his humility, his generosity, and his devotion to those he loved. His laughter, his songs, and the kindness he showed to others will remain treasured memories for all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Tom is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Petra Amador, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, companionship, and cherished memories. He is also survived by his beloved goddaughters, Brenda Ramirez, Audrey Jensen and his loving nieces and nephews.
Tom's life was one of simple joys, genuine love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to family. Though he will be deeply missed, the love he gave so freely and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
