Steven Uriel Ortiz, de 25 años, nació el 21 de mayo del 2000 en Houston, Texas, y entró en descanso eterno el 23 de febrero del 2026 en Houston, Texas.
Steven fue un hijo, hermano y amigo amoroso, querido profundamente por todos los que tuvieron la dicha de conocerlo. Desde muy temprana edad desarrolló una gran pasión por los automóviles y disfrutaba ayudar a su padre a trabajar en carros clásicos, como Mustangs, Camaros y camionetas antiguas. Esos momentos juntos despertaron en él un amor duradero por los vehículos.
Steven era conocido por su carácter serio, pero siempre fue una persona amable, respetuosa y considerada con quienes lo rodeaban. Era muy inteligente, trabajador y dedicado en todo lo que hacía, tanto en sus estudios como en su vida profesional. Siempre le gustaba vestir bien y presentarse con elegancia. Cuando se proponía lograr algo, trabajaba con esfuerzo y determinación hasta conseguirlo.
Estudió Administración de Proyectos en la universidad y, después de graduarse, comenzó su carrera en ORCO como Gerente de Proyectos Junior. Gracias a su dedicación y perseverancia, con el tiempo ascendió hasta convertirse en Gerente de Operaciones.
Steven deja para atesorar su memoria a su padre, Benito Ortiz Hernández; a su madre, Sylvia Guadalupe Gutiérrez; a sus hermanos, Yahir Hernández, Jonathan Garza, Ivette Gutiérrez, Stacy Ortiz y Adamari López; y a sus abuelos, Margarita de Jesús Hernández, Guadalupe Gutiérrez y Sylvia Frausto. También deja a muchos otros familiares y a un gran número de buenos amigos.
Steven será profundamente extrañado por todos aquellos que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo y compartir hermosos momentos a su lado.

Steven Uriel Ortiz, 25, was born on May 21, 2000, in Houston, Texas, and entered eternal rest on February 23, 2026, in Houston, Texas.
Steven was a loving son, brother, and friend who was deeply loved by all who knew him. From an early age, he developed a passion for cars and enjoyed helping his father work on classic vehicles, including Mustangs, Camaros, and vintage trucks. Those moments spent together sparked a lifelong appreciation for automobiles.
Steven was known for his serious nature, yet he was always kind, respectful, and considerate toward everyone around him. He was intelligent, hardworking, and determined in everything he pursued, whether in school or in his professional life. Steven always took pride in his appearance and carried himself with confidence. When he set his mind on achieving something, he worked diligently until he reached his goal.
He studied Project Management in college and, after graduating, began his career at ORCO as a Junior Project Manager. Through dedication and perseverance, he worked his way up to become an Operations Manager.
Steven leaves behind to cherish his memory his father, Benito Ortiz Hernandez; his mother, Sylvia Guadalupe Gutierrez; his siblings, Yahir Hernandez, Jonathan Garza, Ivette Gutierrez, Stacy Ortiz, and Adamari Lopez; and his grandparents, Margarita de Jesus Hernandez, Guadalupe Gutierrez, and Sylvia Frausto. He also leaves behind many extended family members and a host of dear friends.
Steven will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him and sharing in the many wonderful memories he created.
