Sonny Castillo, 50, was born on September 4, 1970 in Taft, Texas and entered into eternal rest on January 23, 2021 in Pasadena, Texas.  He was a loving and great husband, father, Godfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend.  Sonny was a huge sports fanatic, loving family time and hosting baseball events.  He loved music and dancing to his favorite tunes.  Sonny enjoyed cooking and grilling, always planning the next bar-b-que event. He liked to play pool, darts, cornhole, washers, and horseshoe. He was a handyman and a great provider to his family.  Sonny was all about his family and adored his sons. Sonny was loved by all and will be greatly missed by all who shared wonderful memories with him.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Amador and Olivia Castillo; his father in law, Arturo Medina & wife Gloria; and his mother in law, Angelita G. Medina & husband Savas Villarreal.  Sonny leaves behind to cherish his memories, his father, Sone Castillo & wife Odelia; his mother, Josie Castillo & partner Juan Hernandez; his loving wife of 28 years, Becky Castillo; his sons, Jacob Iszac Castillo, Justin Adrian Castillo, and Jayden Alex Castillo; his brothers, Sylvester Castillo & wife Mary, Cesar "Bino" Castillo, Cipriano "Cipi" Castillo, and Silviano "Pidies" Castillo; his sisters, Sonia Castillo & husband Joe Martinez and Sylvia Castillo; his grandparents, Cesario & Josefa Padron; his sister in laws, Yolanda Medina & husband Jaime Dominguez, Hilda Tschendorf & husband Donnie "Vin", Helen Romero & husband Santos, Angie Medina, Brenda Medina & husband Richard Guerrero, and Amy Castillo & husband Ted; his brother in laws, Art Medina, Jr. & wife Trish and Savas Villarreal & wife Amanda; his fur baby, Phoebe; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

Location: Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel

Cremation will take place on a later date.
