Silas Issac Cruz

Silas Issac Cruz, was born on November 10, 2024, in Houston, Texas, and entered eternal rest on September 17, 2026, in Houston, Texas. Silas was the precious son of Christopher Adam Cruz and Sherlyn Leticia Martinez. Though his time here was far too short, Silas filled the lives of his family with an immeasurable amount of love, laughter, and happiness.

Silas was a playful, energetic, and independent little boy who was always ready for his next adventure. He loved being outside, playing in the dirt, throwing rocks, playing catch, and play-fighting with those around him. He was full of personality and already knew exactly what he wanted. If someone was bothering him, he had no problem telling them to “leave me alone,” and when things did not go his way, he was sure to let everyone know. Even at such a young age, Silas had a personality that could fill an entire room.

He loved watching Spider-Man, drinking Dr Pepper, and happily singing “Happy Birthday.” Silas was also very independent and insisted on feeding himself rather than letting anyone else do it for him. He was always learning, exploring, and discovering the world around him in his own special way.

Behind his playful personality was an incredibly sweet and caring heart. If Silas saw someone crying, he would stop and ask, “Are you OK?” He loved his big sister with all his heart and was always following her wherever she went. Even as a little boy, he had a beautiful way of making sure she knew just how much she was loved.

Silas was loving, joyful, strong, and full of life. He was a precious baby boy with a pure and innocent spirit, still learning about the world and how to be gentle along the way. His laughter, curiosity, playful ways, and unconditional love brought so much happiness to his family.

Although Silas was given such a short time with those who loved him, the love he gave and the memories he created will last a lifetime. His beautiful spirit will forever remain in the hearts of his parents, his beloved big sister, and all those who were blessed to know and love him.

Silas will be deeply missed and forever loved. His family will always remember their sweet baby boy for the joy he brought into their lives, the love he so freely gave, and the beautiful little personality that made him uniquely Silas.
