Santos Medina, resident of Houston, Texas, passed away on May 8, 2026, at the age of 81.

Born on November 2, 1944, Santos was raised in Richmond, Texas. Throughout his life he worked as a business owner, truck driver and maintenance man. Santos was an active church member and volunteer who deeply valued his family, friends, and community. He enjoyed the outdoors, bird watching, spending time with family, and watching westerns and action movies.

Santos was known as an unconditional, loving, and caring person. He was a father not only to his own children, but also a guiding presence to many friends and family members. He never stopped caring and giving to whoever was in need.

He loved raising his children, going to Shipley Do-Nuts in the mornings, watching Tiger Woods and the Olympics, listening to The Beatles, rock music, and was a life long fan of Ohio State Football and the Kansas City Chiefs. He always loved keeping up with the lives and accomplishments of his friends and family.

He will be deeply missed by his loved ones, Brothers; Jerry Medina Jr. and Alfredo Medina, Daughters; Melissa Duran and Husband Mark, Nicole Medina Baker and Husband Russell, and Delayne Medina Carr and Husband Rogelio, and Son; Scott Medina. In addition to 15 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Janie Flores Medina; his father, Jerry Medina Sr.; infant brother Marcos Medina; and sons Jeff Medina and Carlos Medina.
