Rudy "Chon" Barboza

08/04/1972 - 08/16/2014   Rudy "Chon" Barboza, 42 was born on August 4, 1972 in Houston, Texas & passed away at home on August 16, 2014. Rudy was a very laid back person, with an immense heart that was motivated by the love he had for his kids & family. A real sports fan with his heart divided in two teams, one being the Texas Longhorns & as a true Houstonian he was a proud Fan & Supporter of the Houston Texans. Going to the Casinos was one of the things he enjoyed the most & of course one of his favorite pastimes. He is preceded in death by his Parents; Rudolph Barboza & Maria Alicia Koussa. Survivors include his Wife, Carol Acosta; Sons, Rudy Barboza III, Aaron A. Barboza, Joe Alatorre; Daughters, Samantha Maldonado & her husband Steve, Isabel Acosta, Amy Barboza Castro, Birdie Brianna Barboza, Celeste Orizaga, Lauren Orizaga & Chloe Orizaga; Brothers, Chris Barboza, Randy Barboza & Isaac Barboza; Sisters, Beatrice Duran, Stephanie Barboza & Veronica Barboza & 6 Grandchildren, Adam, David, Brandon, Emily, Victoria, Lidia & Mauro. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 23, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel with Brother Blair Montgomery presiding. Cremation will take place at a later date in Cremate Texas Crematory, South Houston, Texas.
