Rudolph "Rudy" Rodriguez, 65, was born September 29, 1957 in Houston, Texas and entered eternal rest on August 1, 2023 in Webster, Texas. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Rudy grew up in South Houston, Texas. He graduated from South Houston High School, and played baseball at John Brown University in Arkansas. Rudy met the love of his life Anna in 1984 and married, a year later starting his family. He was an avid sports fan, loved to fish, dance, play golf, or just sit at the beach with Anna every Sunday. He loved his daughters and was crazy about his grandkids. He retired from the City of Houston as the Parks & Recreation Supervisor. He was very active with the youth, not only did he coach all sports he was also their mentor. Rudy battled renal failure for the past 11 years and never complained. He fought for his family till the very end, and will forever be missed by all. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesus & Matilda Rodriguez; his brother, Alex Rodriguez; and his sister, Mona Paniagua. Rudy leaves behind to cherish and treasure his memories his loving wife of 39 years of marriage, Anna Maria Rodriguez; his daughters, Jennifer Nicole Gonzalez & fiance Rafael Guzman, Cecilia Renee Castillo & husband David, Krystina Evon Yanez & husband Anthony; his grandchildren, Mason Violante, Liv Yanez; his brother, Jesse Rodriguez; his sister, Liz Martinez; He is also survived by many other relatives and host of good friends. Rudy will be dearly missed by all those who shared wonderful memories with him.

Cremation will take place on a later day.
