Roy Edward Acosta, 52, of Houston, Texas, was born on September 26, 1973, and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on February 26, 2026, in Houston.

Roy was preceded in death by his loving parents, Raul Acosta and Betty Ann Martinez. Though their passing left a profound void, Roy carried their love and values with him throughout his life.

He leaves behind cherished family members who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts, including his devoted stepfather, Alex Medina; his beloved son, Jacob Edward Acosta; his precious daughter, Samantha Elian Acosta; and his sister, Leticia Acosta. Roy’s presence, guidance, and love meant the world to them, and his memory will continue to live on through the lives he touched.

Roy will be remembered for the love he had for his family, his strength, and the quiet ways he showed care and support to those around him. His life, though taken too soon, left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
