Romana Peña, born on February 28, 1941, in Agualeguas, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2026, in Pasadena, Texas. She lived a life marked by devotion to her family and an enduring spirit that touched all who knew her.

Romana was married for sixty four years to Manuel Peña, Sr., with whom she shared a deeply cherished partnership. Together, they nurtured a large and loving family, including four sons: Manuel Peña, Jr., who is married to Maria; Rene Peña; Omar Peña; and Ricardo Peña, married to Elsy. Their close-knit family also includes a beloved daughter, Rebecca Peña.

Romana's legacy is richly carried forward by her grandchildren, Vivian, Manrique married to Anita, Erica, Melissa married to Gustavo, Alejandra, Emily, Ricardo, Vicky, Alexandra, Emely Zelaya, Jocelyn Flores, and Jose Flores who each carry a piece of her warmth and wisdom. The family has been further blessed by great-grandchildren: Ines, Simon, Osiel, Elizabeth, Manrique, Sara, Emmanuel, Anthony, and Marisol, & Bonus Grandchildren; Jocelyn Flores, Emely Zelaya, Jose Flores, all of whom were a source of immense joy to Romana throughout her life.

The family mourns the loss of her great-grandchild, Isabella, as well as her grandson-in-law, Simon Garcia, whose memories remain close in their hearts.

Romana's life was a testament to the power of love, family, and resilience. She leaves behind a profound legacy rooted in her unwavering dedication to those she loved. Her memory will forever be a guiding light for her family and friends, who will carry her spirit in their hearts always.
