He was known for his unwavering work ethic and dedication throughout his career with the Houston Independent School District (HISD), where he proudly served until his retirement.
A man of great compassion, Roberto was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, never expecting anything in return. His selflessness, generosity, and willingness to serve others left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Affectionately known as "Prieto" by his friends and coworkers, he was admired for his warm personality and the genuine friendships he built throughout his life.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Francisca Padron.
He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory his sons, Jorge Padron and his wife, Liz, and Roberto Padron, Jr.; his daughters, Norma M. Vasquez and her husband, Ron, and Veronica P. Briagas and her husband, Ernest; his grandchildren, Ronald, Jr., Randy, Jacob, Jacqueline, Amanda, Jorge, Jr., Xavier, Ernest, Jr., and Jasmine; his 14 great-grandchildren; his sisters, Ramona Padron, Rafaela Padron, and Rosa Gamboa; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Roberto's legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be remembered with deep love, gratitude, and affection, and he will be dearly missed by everyone who was blessed to share in his life.
