Raymond E. Ragsdale, 80, was born on August 2, 1941 in San Pedro, California and entered into eternal rest on September 16, 2021 in Sugar Land, Texas.  Raymond was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend.  Mr. Ragsdale was a proud Veteran of the US Air Force.  He was a great dancer and an avid cowboy.  Raymond was a great person that would do anything for anyone.  A very special man that took the responsibility of raising the Flores boys after their father passed away.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert W. & Georgia Ragsdale, by his son, Alex John Flores; also by his brother, Burke Ragsdale.  Raymond leaves behind to cherish and treasure his memories his loving wife of 41 years of marriage, Irene S. Ragsdale; his sons, Jerry Wayne Flores, Franke R. Flores & wife Tammy, Renay L. Flores, Ronald Matthew Ragsdale, Steven Ragsdale & wife Martha, and Todd Ragsdale; 14 grandchildren; he also leaves behind many other relatives and a host of great friends.  Mr. Ragsdale will be dearly missed by all those who shared wonderful memories with him.

Times:  3:00pm - 9:00pm

Celebration of Life Service:  5:00pm

Location:  Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel

Cremation and Interment of Cremated Remains will take place on a later date at The Houston National Cemetery with full Military Honors.
