It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ralph Felix Vasquez, 86, who peacefully entered eternal rest on October 17, 2025, in his beloved hometown of Houston, Texas. Born on October 24, 1938, Ralph was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, brother-in-law, father-in-law, mentor and friend, cherished by all who knew him.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Marcelino Vasquez and Seferina Habitud Vasquez, as well as his son, Robert Matthew Vasquez; his brothers, Antonio, Humberto, Rudy, Frank, and Joe; and his sisters, Maria, Leonor, and Evangelina.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Vira T. Vasquez, whose love and devotion sustained him throughout their lives together. Ralph leaves behind his sons, Ralph Vasquez, Jr. (Debra), Ronald Timothy Vasquez, Rodney Michael Vasquez, Rudolph Gabriel Vasquez, and his daughter, Judge Pamela Medina (Justice David Medina).
He also leaves behind his cherished sisters, Blanche Terry and Angelina Basquez, along with 15 grandchildren: Ralph III, Harmoni (Ryan), Gabriel, Michael, Daniel, Marisa (Kalen), Melanie (Lil Jimmy), Zavian (Kaisha), Milan “Lottie”, Anabela, Joshua, Rudy II, and Anthony; 11 great-grandchildren: Slade, Sawyer, Sloan, Sullivan, Josiah, Eden, Hudson, Eloise, Kyani, Kaylie, and Avery; and numerous extended family members, friends, and loved ones. Ralph’s warmth, generosity, and love will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Ralph’s memory will forever live in the hearts of those who shared in his life’s journey. He was a man who radiated kindness, laughter, and strength, and his legacy will continue to inspire those who knew him.
