Petrona Bonilla Alvarez

Petrona Bonilla Alvarez, 96, was born October 19, 1926 in El Salvador and entered eternal rest on November 4, 2022 in Houston, Texas. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, and friend. Petrona was the matriarch of the family that loved kids and was caring, always willing to help her family. She enjoyed cooking, loved her plants and flowers, and her animals of the farm. She lived a life of Christ, always helping anyone and everyone. She is preceded in death by her parents, Anacleto Bonilla & Bernarda Bonilla; her sons, Eugenio Alvarez, Egberto Rene Bonilla, Jorge S. Bonilla; her daughter, Consuelo Alvarez. She leaves behind to cherish and treasure her memories her sons, Jose Heriberto Alvarez & wife Sylvia, Luis Gustavo Alvarez & wife Guillermina, Jose Santos Bonilla & wife Belinda; her daughters, Martina Alvarez & husband Miguel Mejia, Gloria Salinas Alvarez, Norma Margarita Bonilla, Lydia Marina Bonilla & husband Efrain Yanez, Elsy Mariza Alvarez; Yanira Elizabeth Bonilla & husband Miguel; 32 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; SHe is also survived by many other relatives and host of good friends. Petrona will be dearly missed by all those who shared wonderful memories with her.
