Petra Galvan Chapa, 91, was born July 3, 1930 in Coahuila, Mexico and was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on September 2, 2021 in Houston, Texas. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, Isabel Galvan & Brijida Casas; her husband, Reynold Chapa; and also by her daughter in law, Maria Teresa. She leaves behind to cherish and treasure her memories her sons, Reynold Chapa & wife Consuelo, Mario Alberto Chapa, and Juan Carlos Chapa & wife Maria Elena; her daughters, Alma Fuentes & husband Juan, Maria Isabel Chapa, Rosa Nidia Chapa, and Veronica Chapa; 17 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; she also leaves behind many other relatives and host of friends. Petra will be dearly missed by all those who shared wonderful memories with her.

Petra Galvan Chapa, 91, nacio Julio 03, 1930 en Coahuila, Mexico, y fue llamada a Casa de Nuestro Señor y Salvador Jesucristo el 2 de Septiembre del 2021 en Houston, Texas. Ella era una amorosa esposa, madre, abuela, bisabuela, hermana, tia, y amiga. Le preceden en vida su padre, Isabel Galvan; su madre, Brijida Casas; su esposo, Reynold Chapa; y tambien su nuera, Maria Teresa. Le sobreviven para atesorar sus recuerdos sus hijos, Reynold Chapa y su esposa Consuelo, Mario Alberto Chapa, y Juan Carlos Chapa y su esposa Maria Elena; sus hijas, Alma Fuentes y su esposo Juan, Maria Isabel Chapa, Rosa Nidia Chapa, y Veronica Chapa: 17 nietos; 22 bisnietos. Ademas le sobreviven numerosos sobrinos, sobrinas, familiares, y amigos. Petra sera recordada con amor y cariño por todos aquellos con quienes compartio en vida.
