Patrick Maldonado Palacios III

Patrick Palacios IV., 59, of Houston, Texas, passed away on April 3, 2026. Born on January 6, 1967, he was Manchester-raised and a proud graduate of Milby High School, Class of 1986. He was the beloved son of Emily Maldonado and Patrick P. Palacios Jr.

He loved to be called “Papi Chulo,” and he lived up to the name.

Patrick loved sports, oldies, and classic rock.

He took pride in dressing sharp—because if you were going to be “Papi Chulo,” you had to look the part.

He is survived by his children, Patrick Palacios IV, Jessica Palacios, Melissa Kristen Palacios, Emily Lorraine Palacios, and Alex C. Niño; his grandchildren, Diego Medina Jr., Kendall Caballero, and Jeremiah Gonzalez; his loving siblings, Reginald R. Ramirez and Charlotte M. Palacios; his girlfriend, Mandy Nuncio; and his cherished nieces and nephews.

Patrick will be deeply missed and forever loved. And if there’s one thing everyone will remember, it’s that Patrick never let a day go by without calling—so if your phone rings out of nowhere, don’t be surprised… it just might be him checking in one more time.
