Miguel Angel Padilla Franco, lovingly known as Mike to his family and Nawfside Linco in the SLAB community, of Houston, TX, passed away on April 4, 2026 at the age of 33. His passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Mike was known for his vibrant personality, infectious energy, and genuine spirit. He had a way of bringing people together, always lighting up a room with his presence and leaving lasting impressions wherever he went. To many, he wasn’t just a friend—he was family. Mike discovered a true passion in his career operating heavy machinery, allowing him to provide for his family while taking pride in his skill, dedication, and hard work.

A proud part of Houston’s SLAB community, Mike built strong connections and friendships through his passion and love for the culture. He was widely recognized and respected, not only for his presence but for the loyalty and support he showed to those around him.

Above all, Mike was a devoted family man. He is survived by his beloved wife, Monica; his children, Juan, Alex, Rubi, Jocelyn, Elias, and Elianna, who were his greatest pride and joy; four grandchildren and one on the way; his mother, Maria Luisa; his siblings, Heidi and Arnulfo. He was preceded in death by his father, Elias.

Mike’s legacy of love, laughter, and community will live on through all who knew and loved him.
