A celebration of life for Mario S. Segura of Houston, who passed away on the 13 ^th of May 2021, will be held on Wednesday the 26 ^th of May at 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Vigil begins at 6:00 pm, all services will be held at the Compean Funeral Home on 2102 Broadway St. Houston, Texas 77012.

Mario Segura is preceded in death by daughter Elsa Segura, his parents and two siblings. Mario is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Viola Nolasco Segura their three daughters Diana Lopez, Ruth Dominguez, Maria Rodriguez, and his son Mario Segura.

Mario lived a fruitful life, delighting in the social aspects, traveling, music, singing and dancing. Mario should be remembered how he lived in life. His passion for his family, his businesses - hard working, and his compassion for all concerned to include friends, acquaintances, and his loyal Chihuahua Pepe.

Mario was born in 1936 in West Texas, raised in two countries, Mexico and the United States and was proud of his culture, life, and legacy. He was a Houstonian at heart and an avid Astros fan. He will be sorrowfully missed by his family, sons in law, daughter in law, grandchildren and great grandchildren, friends, and siblings. The family will collect monetary gifts in lieu of flowers.
