Maria Irma Vargas, 87, was born June 12, 1934 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and was called up to be with her Lord & Savior on April 7, 2022 in Houston, Texas. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She is preceded in death by her father, Roberto Gomez; her mother, Petra Alaniz; and her sons, Rogelio Gallegos and Gerardo Gallegos. She leaves behind to cherish and treasure her memories her sons, Juan Manuel Gallegos & Elvia, Sixto Vargas, Jr., Gerardo Gallegos, Jr.; her daughters, Christina Reyes & Pedro, Martha Valdez & David Chlamon, Blanca Sanchez & Larry Rice, Patsy Soto, Jacqueline Taytor; numerous siblings; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; She is also survived by many other relatives and a host of good friends. Maria will be dearly missed by all those who shared wonderful memories with her.

Time:  3:00pm - 9:00pm

Funeral Service: 5:00pm

Rosary: 7:00pm

Location: Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel

Cremation will take place on a later day.
