Maria Guadalupe Salazar, 64, was born May 27, 1957 in San Benito Texas and entered eternal rest on April 13, 2022 in Houston, Texas. Maria was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She is preceded in death by her father, Guadalupe Lugo and her mother, Maria Angeles Valencia. She leaves behind to cherish and treasure her memories her loving husband of 50 years of marriage, Jaime Salazar; her son, Victor Salazar & wife Cathy; her daughter, Yazmin Salazar; her grandchildren, Andres Cruz, Anthony Salazar, Aaron Bennet, Christopher Salazar; her sisters, Aurelia Rodriguez, Francisca Delgado, Irma Reyes, Rosario Salazar, Pilar Lugo; She is also survived by many other relatives and a host of good friends.

Maria, known to all as Lupita, loved deeply and it was felt throughout everyone she knew. The love she had for her husband, kids, sisters, and many nieces and nephews, and especially her grandkids, was purely unconditional. She had a heart of gold.

Though she has left this physical world to be in a much better place, she will always be in our hearts.

Prayer Service: 7:00pm

Location: Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel

Cremation will take place on a later day.
