1955 - 2021

Maria Victoria Menchaca, 65, was born on November 23, 1955 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and was called up to be with her Lord and Savior on  August 4, 2021 in Houston, Texas.  Maria was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Victoriano Lira Sandoval and Prisca Rivera Hernandez; and her siblings, Jose Lira Rivera, Juan Bernardo Lira Rivera, and Maria de los Angeles Lira Rivera.  Maria leaves behind to cherish her memories, her loving husband of 49 years, Luis Armando Menchaca; her children, Maria del Rosario Martinez & husband Gregorio, Maria Victoria Ruiz & husband Jose Antonio, and Victor Armando Menchaca; her grandchildren, Victoria Ramirez & husband Charles, Alexis Martinez, Justin Martinez, Emily Martinez, Cecilia Abigail Ruiz, Gabriela Ruiz, Luis Antonio Ruiz, and Carlos Armando Menchaca; her great grandchildren, Olivia Ramirez, Charlie Ramirez, Wilo Ramirez, Charles Ramirez, and Emmanuel Martinez; her sister, Concepcion Lira Rivera; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.  Maria will be dearly missed by all who were touched by her loving soul.
