Maria E. Kumar

Maria Elena Kumar, 64, entered into eternal rest on September 1, 2025, in Houston, Texas. She was born on November 27, 1960, in Coahuila, Mexico, and throughout her life she was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who touched the hearts of all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Noe and Beatrice Gonzalez; her son, Hector Ramon Cordoza; and her brother, Noe Gonzalez, Jr.

Maria leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories through her children: Roel Ivan Caballero and wife Kenya, Erick Harvey Caballero and wife Carmen, Adrian Kevin Maldonado and wife Maria, Xiomara Cardoza, and Helen Ivonne Caballero. She is also survived by her brother, David Gonzalez; her sisters, Julia Gonzalez and Alicia Gonzalez; and her beloved grandchildren: Mia, Erasmo, Roel, Cesar, Ivan, Dominic, Luisa, Ellie, Hector, Erick, Santiago, and Misael. She also leaves behind many extended family members and a host of dear friends.

Maria will be remembered for her kind spirit, unwavering love, and the joy she brought into the lives of others. She will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to share in her life.
