1928 - 2020

Maria Delia Guzman, 92, was born on August 19, 1928 in Sabinas Hidalgo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and entered into eternal rest on October 1, 2020 in Houston, Texas.  Maria was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Prudencio De Leon and Josefa Garcia; her husband, Jose Esteban Guzman; and her 8 brothers and sisters.  Maria leaves behind to cherish her memories, her daughters, Juany Elia Lopez & husband Jose Luis, Barbarita Lopez, Margarita Orosco & husband James, Maria Delia Diaz & husband Michael Angelo, and Rosa Lima Araiza; her 14 grandchildren; her 39 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.  Maria will be dearly missed by all who shared wonderful memories with her.

Prayer Service: 7:00pm

Location: Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel

Interment will take place on a later date in Sabinas Hidalgo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
