1927 ~ 2019

Maria L. Cardenas, 92, was born on September 21, 1927 in Cd. Guerrero, Tamaulipas, Mexico and was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 31, 2019 at her residence in Pearland, Texas.  Maria was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend.  She was preceded in death by her father, Antonio Gonzalez; her mother, Josefina De La Garza; her husband, Jose Cardenas; her brother, Teodulo Gonzalez; her sisters, Elodia Gonzalez and Maria de Jesus Gonzalez; also by her grandson, Jose Antonio Cardenas.  Maria leaves behind to treasure her memories her loving children, Maricela Reyes & husband Samuel, Olga Lidia Lopez & husband Arturo, Azucena Lopez, Jose Antonio Cardenas, Gilberto Cardenas & wife Angelica, and Sonia Cardenas; 16 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; she also leaves behind many other relatives and numerous friends.  Maria will be dearly missed by all those who were touched by her beautiful soul.
