Marcelino M. Contreras

Marcelino M. Contreras, 93, was born July 2, 1929 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and entered eternal rest on January 12, 2023 in Houston, Texas. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Marcelino is preceded in death by his parents, Luciano Contreras & Elisa Merida, and her loving wife, Elizabeth Contreras. He leaves behind to cherish and treasure his memories his daughters, Miriam Garcia & husband John, Jr., Elizabeth Mendez & husband Pablo, Ruth Cieslak & husband Scott, Sara Garza & husband Hector, Diana Contreras; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; his brother, Javier Contreras & wife Dora; numerous nieces and nephews; He is also survived by many other relatives and a host of good friends. Marcelino will be dearly missed by all those who shared wonderful memories with him.

El fue un padre, abuelo, bisabuelo, tatarabuelo, hermano, tio, y amigo muy querido. Le preceden en vida sus padres, Luciano Contreras y Elisa Merida; y su amada esposa, Elizabeth Contreras. A Marcelino le sobreviven para atesorar sus recuerdos sus hijas, Miriam Garcia y su esposo John, Jr., Elizabeth Mendez y su esposo Pablo, Ruth Cieslak y su esposo Scott, Sara Garza y su esposo Hector, Diana Contreras; 10 nietos; 7 bisnietos; 1 tataranieto; su hermano, Javier Contreras y su esposa Dora; numerosos sobrinos y sobrinas; Tambien le sobreviven muchos otros familiares y un gran numero de amistades. Marcelino sera recordado con mucho amor y cariño por todos aquellos con quienes compartio en vida.
