Manuel Perez Matamoros, 75, was born on October 8, 1945 in Houston, Texas and entered into eternal rest on April 6, 2021 in Pasadena, Texas.  Manuel was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonardo Matamoros and Ramona Crisensiana Perez; his sister, Victoria Lopez; and his granddaughter, Elizabeth Matamoros.  Manuel leaves behind to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 57 years, Juanita Cortez Matamoros; his children, Manuel Matamoros, Jr. & wife Norma, Debra Romero & husband Randy Newlin, Leonard Matamoros, Josue Matamoros, and Ismael Matamoros & wife Victoria; his grandchildren, Sara Matamoros, David Romero, Jr., Danielle Romero, Pauline Matamoros, Alexis Rodriguez, and Felipe Rodriguez; his great grandchildren, David Romero, III, Terrance Smith, Leianie Simon, Kayden Simon, and Selena Rodriguez; his siblings, Leonardo Matamoros, Rodolfo Matamoros & wife Cynthia, Marcella Chagoya & husband Frank, Pete Matamoros, Margarita Carranza & husband Alfonsono; his brother in law, George Lopez; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.  Manuel will be greatly missed by all who shared wonderful memories with him.
