Juanita Cerda Martinez

Juanita Cerda Martinez, 92, was born April 6, 1931 in Houston, Texas and was called up to be with her Lord & Savior on December 9, 2023 in Houston, Texas. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elpidio Cerda Sr. & Maria Valentina Paramo; her loving husband, Joe B. Martinez; her son, Luis Heredia; and sister and 5 brothers. She leaves behind to cherish and treasure her memories her children, Juanita Lozano & Felipe, Maria Dolores Flores, Joe B. Martinez, Jr., Carlos Jesus Martinez; her grandchildren, Judy, Elizabeth, Ruben, Maria Alicia, Melissa, Joana, Margarita Sophia, Felipe III, Miranda, Monica; her great-grandchildren, Devon, Amira, Alexavier, Isabella, Arian, Cristiano; her brother, Antonio Cerda; She is also survived by many other relatives and a host of good friends. Juanita will be dearly missed by all those who shared wonderful memories with her. The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers during this time and also thank Nurse Pamela Blinder, Physical Therapist, Emmanuel Alconga, and Occupational Therapist, Margaret Harrison for all their help with their mom.
