Juan Reyes

1949 - 2020

Juan Reyes entered his heavenly home on January 28, 2020. Juan was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and very proud to of served in the Vietnam War. While serving for 3 years, in Vietnam,  he earned several metals, including  Vietnam Service Medal and National Defense Service Medal. Juan Reyes is survived by his six daughters; Diameka Cheney Tamez, Damaris Reyes, Desiree Reyes, Diandra Barrios, Dominique Reyes, and Rebecca Ensley. Two sisters; Leticia Rosalez and Lori Reyes. Ten grandchildren; Shalah Reyes, Daniel Tamez Jr., Isaiah Tamez, Sarah Tamez, Alexander Hernandez, Alissa Hernandez, Aiden Anderson, Avery Trevino, Solomon Reyes, and Teairra Ash-Ensley.

Juan Reyes was lovingly called “Papeto” by his oldest daughter. He was well known for his charm, quick wit, sense of humor, his unfailing faith in God, and the imperishable and faithful bond he had with his sister, Leticia. She was his life line, his constant strength, and the unconditional love she had for him encouraged him, gave him hope, and carried him through his toughest days. Papeto is already dearly missed, our comfort is knowing he is now in the arms of his creator, reunited with his mother; Cruz Reyes, father; Guadalupe Reyes, his brothers; Jesse and Felix Reyes….and FREE AT LAST.
