Juan Antonio Guajardo Vasquez, age 75, was born on September 14, 1949, in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico, and entered eternal rest on May 14, 2025, in Houston, Texas.
Juan was a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother whose loving spirit touched the lives of all who knew him. Known for his kind and generous heart, Juan never hesitated to help those in need, offering whatever he could without expecting anything in return. He brought joy wherever he went, always ready with a warm smile, a hearty laugh, and a joke to brighten the day. His laughter was infectious, his presence comforting, and his humility inspiring.
Juan was a man of unwavering faith who placed God above all else. A true family man, he led with love, compassion, and a deep commitment to those he held dear. He often expressed his trust in God with the words, “Cuidanos Dios,” especially when traveling, a phrase that will continue to echo in the hearts of his loved ones.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio Guajardo and Maria del Refugio Vasquez; his beloved wife, Juanita Guajardo; his sons, Jesus, Antonio, and Jose Luis Guajardo; and his brother, Guillermo Guajardo.
He is survived by his children: sons Juan Arturo Guajardo, Leonardo Guajardo (Angelica), and Ricardo Guajardo; and daughters Leticia Guajardo, Alicia Guajardo, Esmerelda Guajardo, Perla Guajardo, Janie Guajardo, and Ruby Guajardo. He is also lovingly remembered by his adoptive children, Mayra Ramirez and Victor Ramirez.
Juan leaves behind his siblings: brothers Gustavo, Martin, Francisco, and Jorge; and sisters Sonia, Josefina, Oralia, and Graciela. He is also survived by 36 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and many more extended family members and dear friends.
Juan Antonio Guajardo Vasquez will be profoundly missed but never forgotten. His legacy of love, laughter, faith, and generosity will live on through the countless memories shared with him.
