Juan Manuel Dana
1940 ~ 2022
Juan Manuel Dana passed away peacefully on Sunday, the 29th of May 2022, at the age 82. He was born on the 6th of May 1940 in Matamoros Tamaulipas, Mexico, to Manuel Dana and Rosaura Flores. He immigrated to the United States from Mexico in the early 60’s. He worked hard as a residential painter his whole life.
Juan Manuel was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He loved to fish, was a Ford truck enthusiast, and his love language was food. He enjoyed cooking for his family. His presence will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Juan Manuel is survived by his wife, Rosalia Dana Gonzales; his brother, Jose Angel Dana and wife Martha; his children, Rosa Maria Pineda and husband Raul, Rosa Elvia Cossio and husband Jorge, Juan Manuel Dana and wife Rosabel, Guillermo Dana and wife Claudia, Arturo Dana and wife Olga, Esequiel Dana and Hilda Cantu, Erika Ortiz and husband Jander; his thirteen grandchildren and great-grandson.
The family of Juan Manuel Dana would like to extend their appreciation for the kindness and prayers shown during his trying times.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table for me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
