March 19, 1941 ~ July 14, 2020

Following a rapid and harsh battle with COVID-19, it is with heavy hearts that we mourn the loss of our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and wife.  Josephine Guzman of Lytton Spring, Texas passed away at the age of 79 years.

Josephine leaves behind to cherish and treasure her most precious memories her husband of 58 years of marriage, Frank Guzman; her children, Dominic Guzman & wife Wendy and Yvette Guzman; her grandchildren, Tamara Guzman, Alex Guzman, Tristan Guzman, and Victoria Gomez; her great grandchildren, Franky, Aaliyah, Houston, Penelope, Vylette, Iyvri, Melody, Mila, Elijah, Alexis, and Thalia; brother, Johnny Cruz & wife Yolanda; as well as her nieces and nephews, and her beloved cat, Chloe.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonel & Ygnacia Cruz; by her sisters, Luisa Cruz and Victoria Garza; also by her grandson, Brandon Gomez.

Josephine was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and the best friend one could ever have.  She will be dearly missed by all those who were touched by her beautiful soul.

No services will be held at Mrs. Guzman's request.  She instead prayed and asked for all to be careful and to stay safe during this challenging times.
