Joseph Guzman

Our dearest Joe was a loving father, husband, and brother. He and his wife, Lisa, were able to write a 24 year love story together, which often included many spontaneous fishing and camping trips. He absolutely enjoyed our many family gatherings surrounded by his grandchildren. His grand babies were his heart & soul and the apple of his eye. Joe was undoubtedly the “bestest” Popo and best friend they could ever ask for. He also was their favorite “Santa”.

Joe was always full of life and wore his heart on his sleeve. We have many, many favorite memories of him. From joking around and picking on each other, to starting shaving cream fights and barbecuing on the weekends.

He absolutely loved his Astros and his Chargers, not to mention he was a die-hard Dale Earnhardt fan. Joe’s most favorite past time (besides his family) was attending live games with his sons and grandsons. He was also very adventurous and truly enjoyed making memories at the theme parks. The water rides were his absolute favorite. He would also make it a point to be the first one to “test” out the “kids” slip-n-slides.

Our Joe will be deeply missed and words will never explain how big of an impact he has made in our hearts. He will continue to live through us, as we have so many cherished memories and stories that will forever bring us comfort.
