Josefa Aguilar Hernandez, 78, was born August 31, 1943 in Sandia, Texas and was called home to be with her Lord & Savior on December 14, 2021 in Houston, Texas. Josefa was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Josefa is preceded in death by her husband Juan B. Hernandez, her parents Francisco Aguilar and Dolores Ruiz, her daughter Mary D. Villarreal, and her siblings Francisco Aguilar Jr., Delfino Aguilar, Baldemar Aguilar, and Avelina Cortines. Josefa leaves behind her children Homer Hernandez (Gloria), Ernestina Purcell (Ricky), John Hernandez (Leticia), Belinda Mendoza (Homero); Her Grandchildren Alejandro, Maria, Eduardo, Sandra, Homer, Ernesto, Philip, Victor, Dario, Krysta, Teri, Karyssa, John, Queli, Rene, Mario, and Evan; All her great grandchildren; along with her sisters Lydia Chapa and Celia Alanis; and her nephews who she raised Miguel and Demetrio Ruiz . All of whom will keep her memory alive and remember all the good times they shared with Josefa.
