Jose Ismael Reyes Durán, 80, nació el 23 de febrero del 1940 in Zacapa, Guatemala y entró en eterno descanso el 27 de agosto del 2020 en su residencia en Houston, Texas rodeado por su amada familia.  Le preceden vida su padre, Juan Jose Reyes; su madre, Isabel Durán; también varios hermanos y hermanas.  Le sobreviven para atesorar sus recuerdos su amada esposa con la que compartió 55 años de matrimonio, Aminta Reyes; su hija, Patty Ortiz y esposo Haroldo; sus hijos, Jose Ismael Reyes, Jr. y esposa Cecilia, Juan Reyes y esposa Emma Cuellar y Luis Alfredo Reyes y esposa Myrna; sus nietos y nietas, Jose Fernando Reyes y esposa Nicole, Steve Reyes, Joseph Reyes, Carlos Ortiz y esposa Grace, Rebecca Ortiz y esposo Raul, Monica Ortiz Perez y esposo Ryan, Joel Ortiz, Miranda Reyes, Krista Reyes, Heidi Reyes, Laura Reyes y Gabriel Reyes; sus bisnietos y bisnietas, Oliver, Camila, Royce, Amélie y Emalee; también le sobreviven varios hermanos y hermanas, muchos otros familiares y un gran número de amistades.  Jose será recordado con amor y cariño por todos aquellos con quienes compartió en vida.

Jose Ismael Reyes Duran, 80, was born on February 23, 1940 in Zacapa, Guatemala and entered into eternal rest on August 27, 2020 at his residence in Houston, Texas while surrounded by his loving family.  He was preceded in death by his father, Juan Jose Reyes; his mother, Isabel Duran; also by several sibling.  He leaves behind to cherish and treasure his memories his loving wife of 55 years of marriage, Aminta Reyes; his children, Jose Ismael Reyes, Jr. & wife Cecilia, Patty Ortiz & husband Haroldo; Juan Reyes & wife Emma Cuellar, and Luis Alfredo Reyes & wife Myrna; his grandchildren, Jose Fernando Reyes & wife Nicole, Steve Reyes, Joseph Reyes, Carlos Ortiz & wife Grace, Rebecca Ortiz & husband Raul, Monica Ortiz Perez & husband Ryan, Joel Ortiz, Miranda Reyes, Krista Reyes, Heidi Reyes, Laura Reyes, and Gabriel Reyes; his great grandchildren, Oliver, Camila, Royce, Amélie, and Emalee; he also leaves behind several siblings and many other relatives as well as numerous friends.  Jose will be dearly missed by all those who were touched by his beautiful soul.
