1958 - 2021

Jose Guadalupe Alviso, Sr., 62, was born on September 1, 1958 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico and was called up to be with his Lord and Savior on June 19, 2021 in Houston, Texas.  Jose was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Demetrio Alviso Estrada and Juana Gomez Castillo; and his brother Victor Alviso.  Jose leaves behind to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 40 years, Laura Suarez de Alviso; his sons, Heriberto Alviso & wife Daniela and Jose Alviso, Jr. & wife Idalia; his daughter, Juana Alviso & husband Adrian Godino; his brothers, Ismael Alviso, Efrain Alviso, Rodolpho Alviso, Armondo Alviso, and Alfred Alviso; his sisters, Christina and Josefina; his 22 grandchildren; his 9 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.  Jose will be dearly missed by all who shared wonderful memories with him.

Mass: 7:30pm

Location: Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel

Cremation will take place on a later date.
