Helen M. Huerta, 96, was born on October 2, 1924 in San Antonio, Texas and was called up to be with her Lord and Savior on December 19, 2020 in Houston, Texas.  Helen was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Timoteo Martinez and Incarnacion Zuniga; her husband, Alejandro L. Huerta; her sisters, Estella Mata and Ninfa Alvarado; her brother, George Martinez; and her granddaughter, Melissa Tamez.  Helen leaves behind to cherish her memories, her son, Rudy Alvarado; her daughter, Diane Velasquez; her brother, Arthur Martinez; her sisters, Irene Quijano and Rose Marie Reyes; her grandchildren, Erica Tamez, Anthony Tamez, Richard Tamez, Monica Tamez, and Alejandro Tamez; her great grandchildren, Ava Hernandez, Chloe Martinez, John Martinez, Jr., Noah Vasquez, Aliyah Vasquez, Jordan Valdez, Julissa Valdez, and Joshua Valdez. Jr.; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.  Helen will be dearly missed by all who shared wonderful memories with her.
