Gloria Esther Galindo Barrientos, age 76, was born on March 11, 1950, in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico, and entered eternal rest on April 3, 2026, in Houston, Texas.

Gloria was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her loving spirit, her strength, and the deep care she showed to her family and friends.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Jonathan Zamora and his wife, Morgan; her daughters, Diane M. Zamora, Christine Zamora, and Julie Parra and her husband, Julio; her brothers, Johnny, Tony, and Cesar Galindo; her sisters, Mercedes Ibarra, Yolanda Mercado, Dora Garza, and Carmen Gonzalez; and her beloved grandchildren, Frank, Jesus Jr., Brittany, John Paul, Jonathan Jr., Andrew, Christian, Justin, Meagan, Alyssa, Ace, Maklynlee, Angel, Anthony, Sophia, and J.J. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, along with many extended family members and a host of dear friends.

Gloria will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her and sharing in the many beautiful memories she leaves behind.
