Fidel Rangel, 72, was born on December 18, 1947 in Hidalgo, Zacatecas, Mexico and was called to be with his Lord and Savior on August 9, 2020 in Texas City, Texas.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.  He was preceded in death by his father, Merced Rangel; also by his mother, Emilia Escobedo.  Fidel leaves behind to cherish and treasure his memories his loving wife of 41 years of marriage, Cristela Rangel; his daughters, Gloria Davila, Erika Rangel, Korina Rangel, and Cristela Daniela Salgado; his grandchildren, Ramon Breña, Jesse Logan Anguiano, Luke Gonzales, Diego Davila, Layla Gonzales, Victor Hernandez, Ezequiel Salgado, and Andres Salgado; his brothers, Benito Rangel, Antonio Rangel, Noel Rangel, and Guillermo Rangel; his sisters, Delfina Rangel, Imelda Rangel, Ana Monserrate, and Maricela Rangel; he also leaves behind many nephews and nieces, other relatives and numerous friends.  Fidel will be dearly missed by all those who were touched by his beautiful soul.
