Felix A. Alonzo, 71, was born on December 5, 1948, in Mathis, TX, and departed this life peacefully on the morning of Saturday, July 4, 2020, in Houston, TX. Felix was a warm, funny, and loving person and he will be missed by many. He was preceded in death by his parents, Felix L. Alonzo and Elvira Avalos Alonzo; infant daughter, Denise J. Alonzo; granddaughter, Denise Alonzo; siblings, Yolanda Garcia, Gilbert Alonzo, and Albert Alonzo; brother-in-law, Guadalupe “GG” Gomez. He is survived by his son, Les Alonzo & wife Vicki of Houston, TX; son, Robert F. Alonzo & wife Mary Tamayo of Pearland, TX; daughter, Sonia D. Alonzo & husband Radames Gonzales of Powder Springs, GA; grandchildren, Richard P. Alonzo, Lindsey N. Alonzo, R. Valentin Alonzo, and Antimony G. Perez; great-grandson, Lorenzo Valde; sisters, Guadalupe “Lupe” Alonzo Gonzales & husband Guadalupe, Blanca Alonzo Rodriguez & husband Frank, and Shelly Gomez; brother, Samuel Alonzo; he also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.  Memories of his humor, smile, and laughter will stay with those who knew and loved him forever.

A memorial is being planned for a later date and will be announced once details have been established.
