Felipe L. Cavazos

Felipe Lazo Cavazos, 67, was born on September 22, 1958, in Houston, Texas, and was called to be with his Lord and Savior on July 12, 2026, in Houston, Texas.

Felipe attended Bellaire High School, graduating with the Class of 1976. He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend whose greatest joy in life was his family. He had a deep love for music, which brought him happiness throughout his life and created countless cherished memories with those around him.

Known for his strong work ethic, dedication, and reliability, Felipe proudly served as a valued employee of the Marriott for more than 20 years. His commitment to his work and the relationships he built throughout his career earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and friends.

Felipe was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Efren and Brunilda Cavazos, and his brother, Efren Cavazos, Jr.

He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory his sons, Daniel Jesus Cavazos and his wife, Aimee, Phillip Arhmad Cavazos, and Marc Anthony Cavazos; his brothers, Ismael Cavazos and Dagoberto Cavazos; his three beloved grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and his first cousins, all of whom he loved dearly. He also leaves behind many dear friends and extended family members who will forever treasure the memories they shared with him.

Felipe will be remembered for his kind heart, unwavering love for his family, steadfast work ethic, and the joy he found in music. His legacy of love, dedication, and cherished memories will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
