Emma Vazquez Gonzalez

Emma Vasquez Gonzalez, 78, was born March 26, 1944 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and entered eternal rest on September 13, 2022 in Texas City, TX. Emma was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend that touched a lot of people's hearts. She enjoyed cooking and gardening and loved her canary birds and all types of roses. She had an enormous heart and was always there for her siblings and anyone that needed her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose Vasquez Lopez & Emma Jimenez; her brother, Lulo Vasquez; her sister, Rosa Vasquez; and her loving husband of 48 years of marriage, Jose Fernando Gonzalez. Emma leaves behind to cherish and treasure her memories her son, Jose Fernando Gonzalez, Jr. and wife Elizabeth; her daughters, Monica Alejandra Canales & husband Mario Canales, Jr., Emma Guadalupe Gutierrez; her grandchildren, Ashely, Mark, Kristopher, Karina & husband Christian, Fernando, Caitlyn, Leslie, Stephanie, Jonathan; her great-grandchildren, Noah, Hailey, Nathan; her sisters, Yolanda Robles, Amanda Gonzalez, Claudia Tovar; her brothers, Gerardo Vasquez, Joe Fidencio Vasquez, Juan Manuel Vasquez, Sergio Alberto Vasquez; She is also survived by many other relatives and a host of good friends. Emma will be dearly missed by all those who shared wonderful memories with her.
