Obituary

Diana Sanchez, 70, was born on January 18, 1956, in Mercedes, Texas, and entered eternal rest on October 11, 2026, in Houston, Texas.

Diana was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose vibrant personality, generous heart, and love for life brought joy to everyone around her. She was a beautiful soul who never met a stranger and had a special way of making everyone feel welcomed and loved. Her outgoing spirit and contagious enthusiasm made every gathering a little brighter.

Diana had a true passion for music and dancing. She loved all kinds of music and never missed an opportunity to get up and dance. She also enjoyed staying active, especially through aerobics and Zumba, which brought her so much happiness. Diana embraced every season of the year and especially loved decorating her home for the different holidays, always finding ways to make each celebration special.

Known for her love of entertaining, Diana never needed a special occasion to bring family and friends together. She could always find an excuse to host one of her famous "hot dog parties," filling her home with laughter, music, and wonderful memories. Just as much as she loved hosting celebrations, she also enjoyed attending them. She was also well known for her delicious chicken salad, a family favorite that will always be remembered.

Above all, Diana's greatest joy was her family, especially her beloved grandbabies, whom she adored with all her heart. She treasured every moment spent with them and took great pride in being a loving and devoted grandmother. Her kindness, warmth, and larger-than-life personality left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe Hernandez and Esperanza Gomez; as well as her siblings, Mary Helen and Daniel.

She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory her devoted husband of 53 wonderful years, Guillermo Sanchez; her sons, William Sanchez and his wife, Natalie, and Efrain Sanchez; her daughters, Diana S. Galvan and her husband, Rolando, and Karina S. Lozano; her cherished grandchildren, Priscilla, Patricia, Elijah, Paulina, Kaitlyn, and Ellyssia; her brothers, Javier, Jaime, and Gustavo; her sisters, Sylvia, Nohemi, Adriana, Celia, and Delia; as well as many other loving family members and a host of dear friends.

Diana will forever be remembered for her beautiful heart, joyful spirit, love of dancing, and the countless memories she created with those she loved. Although her presence will be deeply missed, the laughter she shared, the traditions she created, and the unconditional love she gave will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all those who were blessed to know her and share wonderful memories with her.
