In loving memory of Debora Hostetler
Debora Castellanos Hostetler of League City Texas, was called home by her Lord and savior on July 19 2022.
She was born on November 11 1969 to Javier Castellanos, and Sara Molina Castellanos.
She was preceded in death by her parents Javier Castellanos and Sara Molina Castellanos of Houston, Texas, brothers Enrique (Henry) Castellanos, and Eduardo (Eddy) Castellanos.
Debora is survived by her husband David Hostetler, brothers Frank (Gloria) Castellanos, Vicente Castellanos, Daniel (Kimberly) Castellanos, sisters Sylvia Castellanos, Blanca (Bruce) Franklin, and Sara Silva, a plethora of nieces and nephews, and countless extended family.
Debi and her husband David’s long time church home was Clear Creek Community Church in League City Texas. She had a true heart for God, and would often wear faith based shirts and use them as a way to open a dialog about her faith with anyone curious enough to ask. Her approach was always an eager come and see!
She loved everyone, and followed the Lords example in that she was no respecter of a persons status or title. She would go out of her way to treat those that would be shunned by most with dignity, honor and respect.
She earned her BS in Management Information Systems from University of Houston, where she was heavily involved in multiple clubs, which got her involved in creating an entertainment company that put on the Kamikazecon anime convention in Houston Texas.
She followed up with her career taking her to work on various contracts at the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas.
A private celebration of Debi's life will be held at Compean Funeral Home at 2102 Broadway St, Houston, TX 77012 on August 15th 2022 at 5:00 P.M., followed by a morning graveside service at 11:00 A.M. at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery 6900 Lawndale St., Houston, Texas 77023
