1949 - 2021

David Canales, 71, was born on February 22, 1949 in Hebbronville, Texas and was called up to be with his Lord and Savior on February 11, 2021 in Houston, Texas.  David was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Eudelia Canales; his brothers, Benito Zuniga, Sr., Porfirio "Pilo" Zuniga, Armando Zuniga, and, Olivero Zuniga; and his sister, Emma Z. Perez.  David leaves behind to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 31 years, Odilia A. Canales; his sons, Randy Thomas Canales and David Canales, Jr. & wife Gloria; his daughter, Laureen C. Morin & husband Fred; his brother, Rafael C. Zuniga & wife Gladys; his sister in law, Rachel Zuniga; his sister, Minerva Z. Lopez; his grandchildren, Krystal Canales, Kristie Canales, Michelle Morin Perez, Jonathan Morin, Amber Rose Barron, Brandon Canales, Stephen Canales, Samuel Canales, and Carolina Canales; his great grandchildren, Christian Moyer, Isaac Perez, Agustine Perez, and Amethyst Rose Malo, his special niece, Norma Lee Zuniga; numerous nieces and nephews; step grandson, Robert A. Morin & wife Nikki; step grandchildren, Robert, Haye, Jacob, and Aubrey Morin; and many other relatives and friends.  David will be greatly missed by all who shared wonderful memories with him.
