Chester Lash Thornton, 66, was born on April 25, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri to Chester E. and Leonora L. Thornton and was called home with his Heavenly Father on May 2, 2016 in Houston, Texas. Chester is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Lupita Thornton; his sons, Ajani Thornton, Michael Scrutchin & wife Dorothy, Jelani Thornton, and Nyerere Thornton; his daughter, Dominique Hamilton & husband Burke; his sister, Anne Weaver; and his grandchildren, Decirae Gomez, Amiri Scrutchin, and Howard Thornton Hamilton.
Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 1pm to 3pm with a Prayer Service at 2pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel.Guestbook
