Celso Mike Escobar III

Celso Mike Escobar III, 52, of Houston, Texas, entered eternal rest on May 3, 2025, in Woodland, California. Born on November 2, 1972, Celso was a devoted father, son, uncle, grandfather, brother, and friend whose presence touched the lives of many.

A man of great warmth and dedication, Celso cherished his family above all. He held a deep love for his grandchildren and took immense pride in his daughters. Known for his hard work and strong work ethic, he built a career as an over-the-road truck driver, a profession he pursued with commitment and pride.

Celso found joy in the simple pleasures of life—BBQing for his loved ones, dancing with his daughters, and singing along to his favorite Tejano and Norteño music. A proud Scorpio, he lived with passion and heart. His love was fierce and protective, especially evident in the way he stood by his family through every challenge, including his beloved mother’s battle with cancer. He was, without a doubt, “Mama’s baby boy.”

He was preceded in death by his beloved grandson, Ian Kobe Morales.

Celso leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He is survived by his parents, Celso Escobar Jr. and Refugia Ibarra Martinez; his daughters, Victoria Escobar and her husband Andrew Morales, and Alexis Escobar; his significant other, Letty Dominguez; and his treasured grandchildren, Melanie and Jaxson. He is also remembered fondly by many other family members and a wide circle of close friends.

Celso will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who shared in the laughter, music, and moments that made life beautiful.
