Bruce was a beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle, and friend whose life was filled with experiences, creativity, adventure, and a deep love for those closest to him. He experienced so much throughout his life and carried with him a genuine curiosity about the world and everything it had to offer. His captivating presence, unforgettable charm, and warm smile had a way of drawing people to him, and when Bruce walked into a room, his personality could truly be felt.

Creativity was an important part of who Bruce was. He loved drawing and painting and took great pride in his artwork. He had an incredible eye for detail and approached the things he cared about with accuracy, structure, organization, and precision. Meticulous and disciplined by nature, Bruce paid attention to even the smallest details and always strived to do things to the best of his ability. His creativity also extended to writing poetry, singing, and dancing, giving him many different ways to express himself and share his personality with others.

Bruce worked for United Airlines, a career that gave him the opportunity to travel the world and experience different cultures, people, traditions, art, food, and unforgettable places. He embraced every opportunity to explore and experience life. Throughout his travels, Bruce collected photographs and souvenirs and loved returning home with stories and memories to share with his family and friends. Some of his greatest adventures included skydiving, zip-lining, hiking, and scuba diving. He also enjoyed learning about the foods of different cultures and bringing those experiences home by learning to prepare new dishes.

Among the most meaningful parts of Bruce's travels were the experiences he was able to share with his mother. He treasured the opportunity to travel with her, creating special memories together that will forever remain close to her heart.

Above all else, Bruce cared deeply for his family. His mother, brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews were always on his mind, and he wanted nothing more than to see the people he loved happy and cared for. He had a generous heart and found fulfillment in looking after others, always wanting to make sure those around him were okay.

That same compassion extended to animals. Bruce had a special passion for caring for animals in need and helping them find loving homes where they could be adopted and cared for. His nurturing spirit could also be seen in the love he had for his plants, which he enjoyed tending to and watching grow.

Bruce lived with a sense of adventure and an appreciation for the beauty and diversity of life. He experienced the world through art, travel, music, food, nature, and the people he encountered along the way. He loved deeply, explored fearlessly, created beautifully, and left behind countless memories that his family and friends will carry with them forever.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Cat Adam Villarreal; his grandmother, Paula Villarreal; his grandfather, Alfred Cruz, Sr.; and his grandmother, Annie Cruz.

Bruce leaves behind to cherish his loving memory his parents, David Cruz and Eva Martinez; his brothers, David Cruz and his wife, Maria Cruz, and Jonathan Cruz; his sisters, Paula Garcia, Kristie Hernandez and her husband, Adam Hernandez, Vivian Cabrera and her husband, Jason Cabrera, and Dominique Cruz; his grandfather, Catarino Villarreal; his beloved nieces and nephews; as well as many other family members and a host of dear friends.

Bruce will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him. His smile, charm, creativity, compassion, adventurous spirit, and captivating presence will be impossible to replace. Although his time here was far too short, Bruce lived a life filled with experiences that took him around the world and memories that will remain forever in the hearts of those he loved.

The places he traveled, the artwork he created, the animals he cared for, the adventures he embraced, and, most importantly, the love he gave to his family will forever be a part of his legacy. Bruce Sebastian Cruz will be forever loved, forever remembered, and forever missed.
