Brenda fué una hija, madre, esposa, hermana, sobrina, tía, prima y amiga amada. Le sobreveviven para atesorar sus recuerdos su esposo, Israel Gasca; su madre, Maria de la Luza Acosta; su padre, Mauro Herrera; su abuela materna, Antonia Perez; su hijo, Alejandro Ortega; su hija, Michelle Ortega; sus hermanos, Pedro Herrera y Hugo Herrera; su hermana, Sandra Herrera; también le sobreviven muchos otros familiares y amigos. Brenda será recordada con amor y cariño por todos aquellos con los que compartió en vida.
