Bertha Fonseca Ruiz, 85, was born on August 22, 1936 in Veracruz, Mexico and was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 29, 2021 in Houston, Texas.  Bertha was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, aunt, and friend.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leandro Ruiz.  Bertha leaves behind to cherish and treasure her memories her sons, Raul Garcia & wife Martha, Juan Francisco Ruiz & wife Maria Guadalupe, Valdomero Ruiz & wife Fidelfa, Saul Ruiz & wife Natividad, and Leandro Ruiz, Jr., and Ernesto Julio Ruiz & wife Cristina; her daughters, Maria Dolores De La Cruz & husband Alberto, Patricia Ruiz, Raquel Santiago & husband Roman, and Lidia Barbara Lopez & husband Gilberto Lopez, Jr.; 37 grandchildren; 71 great grandchildren; 16 great great grandchildren; she also leaves behind many other relatives and a host of great friends.  Bertha will be dearly missed by all those who were touched by her beautiful soul.

Celebration of Life:  7:00pm

Location:  Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel

Cremation will take place on a later date.
