Mujer de profunda fe católica, fue una fiel y devota integrante de la Iglesia Católica Our Lady of Grace por más de 30 años. Su hogar siempre estuvo lleno de amor, calidez y unión familiar, donde creó innumerables recuerdos que su familia atesorará por siempre. Crió a sus hijos con infinita paciencia, gracia y amor incondicional, inculcándoles los valores de la fe, la bondad y la importancia de la familia, un legado que continuará por muchas generaciones. Su mayor alegría era compartir tiempo con sus nietos y bisnietos, quienes ocupaban un lugar muy especial en su corazón. Disfrutaba cada visita, cada conversación y cada momento que podía pasar junto a ellos, creando recuerdos que perdurarán para siempre.

Bertha tenía una gran curiosidad por el mundo y siempre procuraba mantenerse informada sobre las noticias internacionales y los acontecimientos actuales. También disfrutaba ver telenovelas mexicanas y, en los últimos años, desarrolló un gran gusto por las telenovelas turcas. Le encantaba cuidar de sus plantas y mantenerse activa saliendo a caminar. Sus queridos pajaritos fueron una compañía constante, y el alegre canto de ellos siempre podía escucharse de fondo cuando alguien hablaba con ella por teléfono, un sonido que su familia recordará con mucho cariño. Además, disfrutaba salir de compras a Baybrook Mall, donde una de sus tiendas favoritas era Dillard's.

Le sobreviven para atesorar su memoria su hijo, José Ramírez, Jr., y su esposa, Maricruz; sus hijas, Mirna Ramírez y su esposo, Joel, Bertha Alicia Landa y su esposo, José Humberto, y Virginia Hinojosa y su esposo, Jesús M.; sus queridos nietos, Humberto, Jeanette, Jazmin, Jesús, José III, Aime, Jailin y Giselle; sus bisnietos, Camille, Abigail, William, Isaiah, Whitney, Amelia, Katalina, América y Galilea; su hermana, Consuelo Gutiérrez; además de numerosos sobrinos, demás familiares y muchas amistades entrañables.

El legado de amor, fe y entrega de Bertha continuará viviendo en el corazón de todos los que la conocieron y la amaron. Su espíritu bondadoso, su fe inquebrantable y el inmenso amor que profesó a su familia jamás serán olvidados. Bertha had a curious mind and always enjoyed staying informed about world events and current affairs. She also found great enjoyment in watching Mexican telenovelas and, in recent years, developed a fondness for Turkish novelas. She loved surrounding herself with nature, caring for her beautiful plants, and staying active with her daily walks. Her beloved birds were constant companions, and their cheerful chirping could always be heard in the background whenever you spoke with her on the phone—a comforting sound her family will forever remember. She also enjoyed shopping trips to Baybrook Mall, where Dillard's was always one of her favorite stops.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jose Ramirez, Sr.

She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory her son, Jose Ramirez, Jr. and his wife, Maricruz; her daughters, Mirna Ramirez and her husband, Joel, Bertha Alicia Landa and her husband, Jose Humberto, and Virginia Hinojosa and her husband, Jesus M.; her cherished grandchildren, Humberto, Jeanette, Jazmin, Jesus, Jose III, Aime, Jailin, and Giselle; her great-grandchildren, Camille, Abigail, William, Isaiah, Whitney, Amelia, Katalina, America, and Galilea; her sister, Consuelo Gutierrez; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.

Bertha's legacy of love, faith, and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her gentle spirit, steadfast faith, and unconditional love for her family will never be forgotten. She will be remembered with great affection and will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of sharing in her life.
