IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Beatrice L.
Gutierrez
January 21, 1950 – January 26, 2026
Beatrice L. Gutierrez, age 76, was born on January 21, 1950, in Galveston, Texas. On January 26, 2026, she was called to be with her Lord and Savior in Houston, Texas. Beatrice was a woman of remarkable strength, honesty, and generosity, whose life reflected resilience, compassion, and unwavering determination.
Though she often lived with modest means, Beatrice was always willing to give to others. Her door—and her heart—were open to anyone in need, offering help, comfort, or a warm meal without hesitation. She believed in speaking her truth, no matter how difficult it may have been to hear, and she lived her life with honesty and courage.
Beatrice was a fighter in every sense of the word. She never gave up, standing strong through life’s challenges and fighting bravely until the very end. She knew how to hustle and work hard to make ends meet, always determined to provide for herself and her family. Above all, she took great pride in her independence and never wanted to be a burden to anyone, choosing instead to face life with quiet strength and dignity.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Longoria and Clara Fuentes, her sisters; Yolanda Longoria and Delores Longoria; her daughter, Cynthia Barta; and her granddaughter, Pricella.
She is survived by her devoted life companion, Angel Hernandez, who held a special place in her heart; her beloved daughters, Debra Ann Arenazas and Kathy Ramos; her brother, Victor Longoria; her sister, Lisa Lira; and her cherished grandchildren, Carlos, Yvonne, Nicole, Charlotte, Marie, Cynthia, Michael, Eric, Ann, Crystal, Daniel Johnny, Emmanuel, and Max. Beatrice is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of good friends who will forever treasure her kindness and strength.
Beatrice will be remembered as a strong, honest, and giving woman whose legacy lives on through the lives she touched and the love she shared. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Cremation will take place at a later date.
